Mascarons Musée des Mascarons

From peasant watchmakers to industrial producers, the Musée des Mascarons recounts the adventures of watchmaking in the Val-de-Travers.

What the activity involves

Housed in around ten rooms with an understated, contemporary layout, the museum’s permanent exhibition immerses you in the rich watchmaking past of the Val-de-Travers. Find out how, for over three centuries, watchmakers have exported their goods to London, Paris and even as far as Guangzhou, while the region has grown around its watchmaking industry.
