Introduction to watchmaking Le Locle

Chronometry Workshop by Zenith

A workshop at the Zenith manufacture offers practical insights into the work on the legendary 5011 movement.

What the activity involves

During a fascinating workshop at the Zenith watch factory, you are invited to work on a legendary chronometer calibre, accompanied by a Zenith master watchmaker. Equipped with a watchmaker’s smock and a magnifying glass, you will learn in small groups of one to six person(s) how to regulate a movement and disassemble and reassemble the balance spring, the core piece of the watch. An interactive experience at the workbench of an authentic maker of fine watches established in Le Locle for nearly 160 years.
