Come and admire the fascinating mechanisms of three famous 18th century automatons at the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire

What the activity involves

Symbols of a technical expertise unlike any other anywhere in the world, the three androids, “The Writer”, “The Musician” and “The Artist” were hugely popular in the European royal courts of the 18th century, when their ingenious designers Pierre and his son Henri-Louis Jaquet-Droz, together with their associate Jean- Frédéric Leschot, travelled with them throughout the continent. Discover their cutting-edge mechanisms at an individual or group demonstration session.e.

For individuals, first Sunday of the month : 14:00, 15:00 and 16:00, no registration required, subject to availability
For groups, reservation required, minimum 5 persons
